Role Description

Dropbox has an exciting opportunity for a Business Transformation Analyst reporting to the Director, Finance Transformation. The Finance team has assumed additional responsibilities aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies throughout the organization. We are seeking a highly skilled & experienced Business Transformation Analyst to lead our organization through significant changes & improvements.  As the Business Transformation Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying & driving strategic initiatives to enhance our business processes & systems, optimize efficiency, & enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.  You will lead & execute various transformation projects across the organization, leveraging your expertise in project management, process improvement, & automation technologies.


  • Lead the planning, development, & execution of business transformation initiatives to achieve organizational goals & objectives.
  • Manage project intake, including evaluating project proposals, assessing resource requirements, & prioritizing initiatives based on strategic alignment & impact.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of current business processes, systems, & workflows to identify areas for improvement & optimization. Build a pipeline of transformation initiatives across the company.
  • Define project scope, objectives, & deliverables, & develop detailed project plans to ensure successful implementation & execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment & integration of transformation initiatives across the organization.
  • Design & build Alteryx workflows, bots & AI-powered low-code automation workflows to enable end-users to automate routine tasks & processes.  
  • Monitor & evaluate project progress, identify risks & issues, & implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Develop & implement change management strategies including training programs & workshops to ensure successful adoption of new processes, systems, & technologies. 
  • Track & measure the impact of transformation initiatives on key performance indicators (KPIs) & business outcomes.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, & innovative approaches to business transformation & change management.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in leading & managing business transformation initiatives within a complex organization.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, operations, & systems, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement & optimization.
  • Experience building complex Alteryx workflows is a must.
  • Experience with bots & GenAI tools is preferred.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to develop & execute detailed project plans, budgets, & timelines.
  • Strong leadership & communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage & influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams & driving collaboration & alignment across departments.
  • Proven ability to drive change & foster a culture of continuous improvement within an organization.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or business process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.

  • Experience with bot implementation & other Gen AI tools
  • Certificate in project management or business process improvement methodologies
