THE ROLE: Infrastructure Engineer

We're Looking For... 

An experienced Infrastructure Engineer to implement, maintain, & support our growing network infrastructure. You will be part of a larger team that is responsible for maintaining & developing scalable, highly available network architectures that meet business growth, expansion, & success!

What You'll Do:

• Lead the daily activities of local & wide area network systems, perform diagnostics, schedule preventative maintenance.
• Responsible for installation, administration, & testing of network servers, operating system software, hubs, routers, switches, cabling etc.
• Provides response, develop solutions & collaborate to emergency work requests.
• Assist the Senior Network Engineers with developing, monitoring, & implementing network security procedures for safeguarding all networking systems.
• Perform facility surveys for network communications & make recommendations for the layout & location of network components, equipment, cabling, & wiring.
• Assist with developing pricing schemes with vendors for network components, equipment, cabling, & wiring for new implementations or upgrades.
• Maintain records of work completed & in-progress; & updates network documentation to record installations, upgrades, configurations,
• Manage network management programs & prepare network status reports.
• Assist/Support other network related tasks/requirements as directed by management.  
• Available on-call to assist with trouble tickets as needed.
• Manage projects & deliver on time with periodic status reports to management.
• Manage & coordinate installation of new data services.

• Knowledge of design, configuration, installation, testing, & maintenance of local & wide area computer wired & wireless networks.
• Knowledge of computer network characteristics, network operating system software, & network components.
• Troubleshooting skills & the ability to diagnose/resolve network system problems.
• Ability to interpret & apply complex technical manuals & reference materials.
• Understanding or knowledge of cloud environments like AWS or Azure
• Understanding or knowledge of Terraform or Ansible
• Understanding of Layer 3 VPN & BGP routing.
• Ability to assist with developing network security & related procedures; & assist with performing network management activities.

Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $118,000

Our goal is to support, reward & compensate the entire individual. Depending on role eligibility, your offer may also include bonus/commission, stock options, 401(k) participation & match, paid time off, medical, dental, vision & basic life insurance. Therefore, final offer amounts may vary from the amount stated.
