About the Role

iCapital is seeking an Associate to focus on Canadian feeder fund origination for hedge funds & private equity. This is a role within the Client Success organization & will report to a Senior Vice President on the Fund Origination team. This position will work with the team who is responsible for new product development, product structuring, manager onboarding, & fund lifecycle management.  This role will be responsible for supporting the product lifecycle management of various alternative investment vehicles focusing on Hedge Funds, Private Equity, & other investment structures. This includes executing processes related to adding new funds to the platform, support of regular meetings & preparing reports, presentations, & fact cards. This team stands at the heart of iCapitals growth into new markets & fund structures.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare fund marketing materials with the appropriate information, including updates.
  • Coordinate with the internal Compliance & Legal teams on review & approvals.
  • Assist with the preparation & coordination of materials related to new fund approvals & new fund launches.
  • Support projects related to onboarding new funds & working across the organization to assure on-time & successful completion.
  • Prepare & disseminate project progress notes.
  • Input & update fund governance details on a regular basis.
  • Assist in various fund launch activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree
  • 4+ year of experience preferably with fund administration, fund management, or custodial relationships
  • Experience in alternative investments is a plus
  • Positive attitude, & a desire to work in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment
  • Able to handle multiple tasks & prioritize assignments
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter that is accustomed to project work with tight deadlines
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical & verbal & written communication skills
