About the Role

StyleSeat is seeking a highly analytical & detail-oriented Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to join our dynamic Finance team. This role will focus on core financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, & performance reporting. Youll play a key role in ensuring financial discipline, supporting functional budgeting, & providing data-driven insights to help drive business decisions. What Youll Do

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Lead the companywide budgeting & forecasting processes in collaboration with cross-functional leaders.
  • Maintain & improve financial models that support operating budgets, cash flow forecasting, & business planning.
  • Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, & annual reporting packages including variance analysis & actionable insights for department heads.
  • Monitor business performance by tracking key metrics & trends & creating dashboards & tools for visibility & accountability
  • Develop & automate scalable reporting processes & tools to drive efficiency & transparency.
  • Support monthly close processes in partnership with the Accounting team to ensure accuracy & timeliness.

Financial Operations & Systems

  • Assist with implementing & optimizing FP&A tools, templates, & processes.
  • Maintain financial data integrity & ensure compliance with internal policies & controls.
  • Drive process improvements across financial operations to improve quality, reduce cycle times, & enhance decision-making support.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a trusted partner to department leaders, providing financial guidance & helping them stay aligned with budgets & targets & to understand financial impacts.
  • Collaborate with People Ops on compensation planning, headcount reporting, & budget tracking.

Who You Are

Successful candidates can come from a variety of backgrounds, yet here are some of the critical experiences were looking for:

Qualifications

  • 46 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, with proven experience in SaaS or tech environments preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, & variance reporting.
  • Expert-level Excel & Google Sheets modeling skills.
  • Highly analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail & the ability to synthesize large data sets into clear narratives.
  • Experience managing cross-functional relationships & supporting budget owners across departments.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience in fast-growing or scaling organizations.
  • Understanding of revenue & expense dynamics in subscription-based businesses.
  • Experience supporting or partnering with Accounting teams on monthly close & accrual processes.

Personal & Professional Characteristics

  • Self-starter who takes initiative & thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly & concisely.
  • Organized & proactive with a continuous improvement mindset.

Salary Range

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The career levels we are targeting for this role have a combined range of $116,000 to $170,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs & market demands. Base pay ranges are subject to change & may be modified in the future.
