As Vimeos Vice President of Strategic Sales, you will be responsible for building out a Global Sales Team to sell both land new logos in the Fortune 1000 as well as help drive expansion within our existing account base. In this quota-carrying role you will attract, hire & retain a world class Sales Team that will convert prospects to paying customers by generating outbound prospecting that may be existing Vimeo Enterprise, Self-Serve or entire net-new customers. The Vimeo Vice President of Strategic Sales should have strong listening skills, be driven, assertive & passionate with a desire to help customers achieve their business goals. This person should possess a track record of consistent quota over-achievement as well as strong forecast accuracy & team building. The ideal candidate has relevant video domain expertise.

What you'll do:

  • Recruit, train, & retain a top performing sales team
  • Exceed sales quota targets by selling Vimeo OTT & Enterprise SaaS platforms
  • Convey Vimeos unique value proposition to customers & handle objections
  • Position solution against competitive offerings in market
  • Work directly with leading Brands & Media companies to help solve their video needs
  • Maintain CRM data & pipeline within Salesforce.com
  • Actively manage leads pipeline & campaigns in order to meet goals & objectives
  • Be able to demonstrate Vimeo product capabilities to customers
  • Attend industry events as a key component of outbound prospecting activity

Skills & knowledge you should possess:

  • 10+ years experience generating new SaaS sales
  • 7+ years leading sales teams
  • Knowledge of global market trends & business needs
  • Knowledge of various online video, OTT, advertising, payment, analytics, & other video technology companies
  • Strong verbal & written communication, time management, organizational as well as presentation skills
  • Standout colleague that will thrive in our fluid, fast-paced, dynamic, scaling environment
  • Highly motivated & results driven self-starter. Operates with a sense of urgency & values accountability
  • Solid sales foundation built through sales training & practical experience
  • Passion for Vimeo & our video professional community
