POSITION:

General Assembly is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Finance team full-time. This role will call upon your flexibility to deal with many varying tasks within the finance department. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, a knack for problem solving & a willingness to learn & grow. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regular processing of invoices into accounts payable system
  • Timely document maintenance & organization
  • Monitoring accounts payable processing
  • Organizing weekly check runs
  • Reconciling vendor invoices
  • Assisting with various ad hoc finance projects
  • Helping support other members of the team as needed

IDEAL BACKGROUND:

Youll be a technically minded individual with a good understanding of accounting & finance & a great eye for detail.

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Previous experience with QuickBooks is desirable, but not essential
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Entrepreneur at heartyou enjoy working as part of a small team, rapidly iterating on strategy, & getting your hands dirty to build something great
