What is the key purpose of a Head of Sales & Account Management, US?

Taboola is looking for a passionate, operations focused & results-driven Head of Sales & Account Management, US The Growth function is a significant driver of growth for Taboola, & the successful candidate will be able to lead & develop a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Sales Managers, Account Managers, & Growth Sales & Account Management leaders. The Head of Sales & Account Management, US will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our Growth Sales & Account Management operations in the United States. This role requires a strategic leader who can hire, develop, retain, build & lead a world class inside sales & account management team with a winning performance driven culture.  

What skills & qualifications do I need? 

  • 10+ years of experience in a key Advertiser Sales/Account Management or General Management position with a minimum of 7 years of managing a sales or Account Management team.
  • Ideally you will have managed & scaled an inside sales or account management (SMB or Mid Market) team for at least 7 years
  • Significant experience mentoring people & paving the way for excellence in process & performance
  • Experience independently hiring & building successful commercial teams 
  • Expert in Salesforce (SFDC) & comfortable using & recording your teams progress in SFDC
  • Technologically savvy ability to learn & explain what is needed to support successful deal implementation & optimization.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment & consistently learn, adapt & develop.
  • Outstanding communication & presentation (verbal & written) will be a requirement for this role

What will I be doing on a day-to-day basis?

  • Develop & execute a comprehensive inside sales strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives & revenue targets.
  • Own advertiser annual quota & execute sales activities respectively 
  • Alongside the Growth Sales Director & Growth Account Director in your region, you will hire, train, develop & performance manage a team of outstanding SDRs, Sales Managers, & Account Managers who will excel in outreach to: 
  • Establish key performance metrics & goals for the inside sales team, regularly monitoring progress & providing feedback to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure your teams understand a clients organization, their objectives/goals & offer the right Taboola product to the right prospect 
  • Have an excellent understanding of digital technology, video, & ad tech ecosystems to be able to explain product benefits within this context.
  • Work closely & communicate frequently with Country Managers & Regional Directors & RVPs on the Enterprise side of the business to align on your go to market approach
  • Critically build a close alignment with both Advertiser Operations & FP&A to fully understand the business
  • Interact with our project implementation team to effectively manage client expectations & ensure successful implementation of our products & technology.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key customers & strategic partners to drive revenue opportunities & maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, & emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
