About the Role

As Internal Communications Director, you will oversee Stitch Fixs efforts to inform, engage & inspire its employees. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the team that develops & executes strategic communications to corporate, customer service, distribution center, & stylist teams.

The Director of Internal Communications will report to Stitch Fixs Vice President of Communications.

• Drive awareness of how Stitch Fix is transforming its business to deliver for its clients & drive sustainable, profitable growth You will develop a strategic enterprise communications plan that ladders to the companys broader business strategy & reaches all internal audiences. 
• Be a trusted partner You will interact with the Stitch Fix leadership team often & build trusted relationships with stakeholders across our business to deliver the communications strategy. You will also partner with the people experience team to develop & execute in-office experiences that align with the internal communications strategy. 
• Serve as the editorial director of our internal channels You will evaluate & evolve our channel strategy to all employees & develop editorial content including leadership messages, internal videos, & other relevant assets to support our internal storytelling. 
• Oversee the planning & execution of internal events You will determine the right event cadence & lead the execution of those events including developing associated content & managing logistics.

• You have the right breadth of experience You have 10+ years of experience in communication roles (technology and/or retail experience is a plus) with a focus on internal communications. You believe in 360 communications & understand how to leverage corporate & consumer communications in internal programs. 
• You are an outstanding storyteller You are capable of taking information & insight to build a compelling narrative. Youre an expert at translating nuanced, complex concepts into broadly digestible content. Youll understand how different audiences need to hear things differently & customize approaches accordingly. 
• You have a business mindset You have a proven track record partnering with executive leaders to understand a business strategy & develop a communications strategy to support it. 
• You can collaborate across teams You demonstrate leadership & strong decision-making skills, & also value input from cross-functional partners & team members, & are comfortable working through ambiguity.  
• You are an energetic self-starter Youre comfortable working in a fast-paced environment & possess a keen sense of what needs to happen & the energy to do it. In short, you get things done.
