Job Type: Sales Internship - Finance 

Compensation: College Credit

Duration: September 8, 2025 - December 18, 2025

Commitment: 3 days a week

Location: NYC-based

Time zone: Must be available to work in Eastern Standard Time (EST)

Commitment: Must be eligible to receive college credit & commit 3 days a week.

Job Description

The Financial Sales Intern will play an integral role in acquiring new clients/business as well as assisting & further developing existing client relationships.

Daily duties include client/prospect correspondence, conducting discovery & capabilities meetings, sales pipeline development, & supporting senior members of the business development team.

This role sits within the Sales team & collaborates closely with the Creative, Client Services, & Marketing teams.

The ideal candidate is an organized, curious, fast learner; a self-starter with a talent for problem-solving. They should be able to adhere to deadlines, communicate effectively & professionally, & work well with team members & clients/prospects.

The Sales & Business Development Intern will play an integral role in acquiring new clients/business as well as assisting & further-developing existing client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage records in HubSpot (log detailed call notes & next steps, update information about accounts & contacts, etc.)
  • Focus on uncovering new business opportunities across the Tech / Financial Services industries
  • Assist in developing a strategic plan for key accounts & industry verticals
  • Ensure that strong ties with key accounts are developed, maintained & leveraged for greater revenues & deeper relationships
  • Manage internal & external sales processes
  • Assist in scheduling, research, & logistic responsibilities for upcoming events 
    • Assist with keeping track of events, contacts, & meetings
  • Assist in researching brands & clients/prospects
    •  Additional focus on AI & how it impacts the sales space

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication skills: written, oral, & listening
  • Detail-orientated for the implementation of complex strategies
  • Knowledge of HubSpot/Salesforce is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with Google suite (e.g. Google Docs/Sheets/etc)
  • High attention to detail & comfortable taking on multiple projects at once
  • Comfort speaking with new people, ability to find common ground
  • Tech savvy & able to pick up new skills quickly
  • Outgoing personality
