About the job

This position is needed to craft & deliver on the vision, strategy, & roadmap for Engagement suite product product portfolio. These products are responsible for increasing end customer engagement & thereby increasing ROI for Twilio customers.

Twilio is looking for a Product Manager to join the Customer & Developer Experience product team of our Communications business unit. You will understand the needs of our customers for end user engagement & build products that solve that need at global scale. Working side by side with other product managers & engineering counterparts, you will collaborate to craft & deliver on the vision, strategy, & roadmap for these products at Twilio.

Responsibilities

In this role, youll:

  • Be the voice of the customer in every conversation & decision, & ensure we build world class products that our customers love & value.
  • Own the product strategy, roadmap, & release cadence for various packages of Twilios engagement suite products. 
  • Support your engineering team in delivering quality features efficiently, & your global go-to-market team in selling them. 
  • Get your hands dirty, align executives, convince peers, & coordinate dependencies to get-it-done.
  • Seek out unique points of view to deliver products that reflect the global population & make communication more inclusive for all.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of Product Management or related experience building customer-facing cloud products for businesses or developers.
  • Experience working in an agile/SCRUM development process with globally-distributed teams & customers, occasionally working non-standard hours.
  • Strong technical, analytical, & UI/UX design understanding. 
  • Ability to speak & write in English fluently.
  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience required.

Desired:

  • Experience building products/services related to APIs, marketing, messaging, or telecom.
  • Experience working with direct sales, marketing, & defining pricing/packaging

Location 

This role will be remote, & based in the United States. Approximately 10% travel is anticipated.

*Please note this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado, California, New York, & Washington. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $123,500 - $154,400.
  • Based in New York, Washington State or California (outside the San Francisco Bay Area): $130,720 - $163,400.
  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilios equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, & geographic location within the state.
