The role

Factor_ a brand of HelloFresh, is seeking a Payroll Expert to support monthly payroll processing, data validation, & reporting in collaboration with our Berlin payroll team. This role ensures payroll accuracy, maintains HR data quality, & serves as a contact for employees & authorities. Importantly, it also plays a key role in contributing to process improvements & supporting various HR projects, offering potential for growth & development.

What youll do

• Support in the preparation, follow-up & processing of monthly payroll accounting for our location in close cooperation with the payroll team in Berlin
• Collecting & checking the plausibility of payroll data from various company sources & proactively clarifying special features with employees in advance of payroll runs
• Preparation of evaluations & reconciliation of health insurance accounts
• You play an active role in the continuous development & optimization of processes in payroll accounting & contribute your own ideas to increase efficiency.
• Contact person for employees, social insurance providers & authorities in matters relating to payroll tax & social security law
• Maintaining HR master data & transaction data & ensuring data quality in our HR systems (workday, 3010)
• Further development of the HR department by supporting & participating in various HR projects

What youll bring

• You have completed a commercial apprenticeship or comparable qualification, ideally with experience in payroll accounting
• You have initial knowledge of payroll tax, employment & social security law & are used to implementing legal changes independently.
• You are confident in using MS Office & ideally have experience in HR software systems
• You work independently, in a structured & conscientious manner 
• You always keep an eye on deadlines & are willing to take on responsibility in a dynamic working environment
