We're looking for a strategic Sr. Director of Product for our Client Support & Styling organization. We are proud to be #1 in Ecommerce Customer Service (Forbes). This person will lead the teams that will conceptualize, design & build innovative experiences that engage & inspire Stitch Fix clients & support our internal stylist & agent teams. The Client Support & Styling teams help customers discover their style & respond to requests or needs. They provide a personalized shopping experience optimized to help clients make decisions about buying clothes they will love. This high-impact role is responsible for building the differentiated experiences, tools, & platforms that empower our Styling & Client Support teams to deliver next generation delightful experiences to our clients. From ideation to strategic execution, this Sr. Director will play a critical leadership role in defining the future of the Stitch Fix client shopping experience.

Reporting to our VP of Engineering & serving as a key leader for the Technology & Product organization, this Sr. Director will bring expertise in conceptualizing new product experiences that solve real customer, stylist, & agent problems & working across teams to bring these experiences to life. YOURE EXCITED ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY BECAUSE YOU WILL

  • Lead & mentor a team of Product Managers across client support, styling & account protection creating an environment of teamwork, trust, & mutual success
  • Define the product strategy & roadmap for client - stylist engagement on our eComm & mobile  experiences, including introducing rich video & community content to enhance our daily active experience 
  • Define & manage the end-to-end styling experience (stylist tools & capabilities), across domains & across the Fix & Freestyle experiences, helping to present a personalized assortment to clients in an engaging way. 
  • Ideate, define, manage, & execute on the product strategy for client support & account protection (agent tooling, payments, tax & fraud) elevating Stitch Fix to be the best client support organization.
  • Be an evangelist for the Stitch Fix client, both internally & externally
  • Navigate diverse stakeholder groups, forming & sustaining trusted relationships & acting as a key connector bringing together multiple perspectives
  • Lead regular & robust product & technical design discussions with your team, across partner teams, & ensure that were building the right experiences that drive loyalty for our clients
  • Influence leaders & teams to effect change across the technology organization

WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU BRING

  • 10+ years experience using customer or e-commerce analytics to improve the customer experience & achieve business goals
  • 10+ years demonstrating the ability to work across product, merchandising, marketing & engineering teams, & at least 5 years of people leadership experience
  • Experience leading conversion optimization teams in a B2C or B2B environment to increase customer acquisition & retention
  • Demonstrated ability to lead conversion optimization strategies access different customer cohorts
  • Excellent communication & storytelling skills that you use to craft compelling narratives & presentations to bring others along to the vision 
  • Sound business judgment with the ability to easily communicate a business case for a new opportunity
  • A strong sense of ownership, willing to roll up your sleeves & drive end to end product development for innovative customer experiences
  • Ruthless prioritization in the face of competing priorities & a bias for action
  • Success in delivering results in a complex,  fast paced environment

Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills. Must be able to explain technical concepts & analysis implications clearly to a wide & senior audience, & be able to translate business objectives into actionable analysis.

Compensation & Benefits

Our anticipated compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets, & the range below indicates the low end of the lowest-compensated market to the high end of the highest-compensated market. This position is eligible for new hire & ongoing grants of restricted stock units depending on employee & company performance.
