HelloFresh Canada is seeking an experienced digital marketer to support our affiliate marketing function.  In this role, you will help optimize & innovate in this critical area of our digital marketing portfolio.  You will be joining a passionate & talented marketing team based in Toronto that embraces data & agility.  This is an incredible opportunity to join a rapidly growing business with a successful consumer product & stellar team.

You will be a major contributor to the growth marketing function & work on one of our most established channels. Your role will span HelloFresh brands including HelloFresh Canada, Chefs Plate, & new program development.  You will optimise & help manage a wide range of affiliate publishers & campaigns that will drive our performance & expand penetration in Canada.

To succeed in this role, youll need experience in the affiliate industry, a data-driven mindset, & a passion for forming professional relationships & an innovative approach to optimising business opportunities. 

  • You are a key driver for HelloFresh Canadas affiliate marketing program --  you deliver conversions & reach via affiliate marketing via direct relationships & via agency (Commission Junction) at effective CACs. 
  • Develop new opportunities by finding/testing new affiliate partners, as well as maintaining strong relationships with existing publishers clients & agencies alike
  • You execute this across Canadian brands (HF, CP, CF) while maintaining balance between the brands.
  • You have a strong & growing knowledge base of affiliate marketing  -- you play a critical role in managing the channel workflows
  • Work within the CA Growth team & the US affiliate team on identifying, defining, & pursuing program opportunities
  • Bring strong CAC / planning discipline to function & new brands (CF)

  • Identify key partners & new verticals to recruit onto our established/new affiliate programs. 
  • Lead on defined initiatives that drive business goals with affiliate marketing, Examples of initiatives may include:
    • Commission, CPA, & discount optimization
    • Partner communication & creative strategy, 
    • Landing page optimization
  • Work across Affiliates & Growth Partnerships to qualify & nurture partner leads of both types balancing near and  long term potential
  • Help manage marketing operations & day-to-day tasks for channel upkeep like voucher creation, invoicing, reporting costs, coordinating with our agency on budgets & targets, & coordinating with concerned teams on campaign timelines, copy & creatives.
  • Effectively manage reporting & ensure channel budgets are adhered to by external agencies & partners.
  • Harness your data-driven mindset to optimise partner performance/campaigns, troubleshoot challenges, & identify opportunities for improvement & growth, with the goal to test one new opportunity every month. 
  • Works across the business with local & global teams (marketing, analytics, product, & operations) to improve HelloFresh marketing efforts. 
  • Develop strong working relationships with our internal & external marketing partners. Maintaining clear & effective communication is key for this role!
  • Dig into & become comfortable with data. Drawing insights & learnings from your tests are top priorities.
  • Keep in touch with the latest in online marketing/affiliate trends & tactics for improving efficiency or engagement metrics.
  • All other duties, as assigned

  • Familiarity with affiliate marketing with 1+  years of experience in the Canadian affiliate industry & or digital marketing. You have good knowledge of the Canadian affiliate landscape, common tracking technologies & platforms, as well as reporting dashboards such as tableau.
  • A critical thinker, able to work independently & prioritize with determination & ambition. You move fast individually, but understand that building good processes can help everyone move faster.
  • Data driven & curious/analytical by nature. You have strong analytical & organizational skills that help you closely monitor your business function & prioritize for success.
  • Adept at rapidly understanding business needs & crafting solutions. You are able to articulate challenges & problems & then move swiftly to problem solving.
  • A confident communicator & presenter who is keen on using data to support your perspectives. You are comfortable communicating with internal & external stakeholders, as well as building relationships with members of remote teams.
  • A culture fit; you are kind, professional, passionate, & hungry to learn.
  • Excited by ambitious targets & energized by rising to challenges. You are a self-starter who takes initiative
