We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our ambitious & fast-growing HelloFresh Retail Media team in Amsterdam. As part of the Growth Marketing department, you will play a key role in driving & further scaling revenue expansion across the Benelux region through impactful media & brand partnerships.
In this role, you will be responsible for both deepening existing relationships, with partners engaged in product sampling & recipe integration, & for identifying and forging new commercial partnerships by offering innovative advertising solutions across our digital & physical channels.
Beyond growing our current partner ecosystem, youll be at the forefront of identifying untapped opportunities. Youll scope, develop, & lead the launch of strategic initiatives that unlock new revenue streams, while ensuring smooth internal alignment & operational excellence across departments.
As Senior Business Development Manager you possess excellent communication, negotiation & sales skills, are able to operate independently, taking full control & responsibility for meeting business & partner goals. This role involves collaborating with local & global cross-functional teams, managing legal & brand feasibility, logistics, developing strategic sales plan & tracking campaign performance while keeping a keen eye on market trends & opportunities.

- Develop & implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue & achieve sales targets across various channels, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Identify key growth opportunities within our local & global partners network as well as scoping, developing & launching new key partnerships opportunities.
- Build & maintain strong, long-term relationships with sampling & recipe integration partners & advertisers. Understand their needs, objectives, & pain points, & provide tailored solutions.
- Prepare & negotiate partnership proposals & contracts, ensuring favorable terms & conditions as well as alignment with HelloFresh company goals & objectives.
- Monitor & analyze campaign performance data, providing insights & recommendations for improvements. Prepare & deliver regular sales reports & forecasts to local & global senior management.
- Oversee all aspects of campaign logistics, including product procurement, packaging, advertising, & distribution.
- Work closely with marketing, brand, legal, procurement & operations teams to align sales efforts with overall HelloFresh company goals & ensure seamless campaign execution & fulfillment.
These are the ingredients youll bring to the team
- 5+ years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Growth Marketing (agency or corporate); experience in the FMCG industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Proven ability to source, launch & expand successful partnerships with excellent communication & negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of revenue channels, partnerships, & emerging market trends.
- Strong network in FMCG & media agencies, possibly with a solid, proven clients portfolio, to ensure easy access to potential partners that are suitable for HelloFresh
- Experience with strategic development, from scoping, to developing & successfully launching new (strategic) initiatives, while effortlessly coordinating the complete process.
- Strong project management skills with an eye for detail & the ability to naturally prioritize projects.
- Data-driven mindset with a proficiency in sales analytics with a passion & aptitude for solving problems
- Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision making, a structured way of working & aptitude for solving problems
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment & navigate complex client relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills in English - written & verbal. Fluency in Dutch and/or French is mandatory.
