What we're looking for
A successful candidate will be an inspirational people manager, coach & mentor. You are a product thinker, a collaborative cross-functional team player, & excellent communicator, creating connective tissue between your team, your partners, & leaders in the company. You are passionate about bringing better design to the business world, through stunning data viz, personable interfaces, & a commitment to empathizing with our users.
Lead, manage & mentor product designers for a growth team focused on the buyer experience, with practiced ability to teach core design skills, & coach on softer skills of influence, customer centricity & personal leadership.
Shape the experience strategy, driven by customer understanding, building on knowledge from customer research, content strategy, product management, marketing, & customer support & operations.
Support & encourage a culture of accountability & feedback you give it, receive it & grow from it, & encourage this practice on the team
Focus on the customer & business problems with the biggest impact while being a tireless advocate for design craft & cohesive customer experience
Passion for solving complex Enterprise product challenges with modern, intuitive design solutions.
Experience managing Enterprise SaaS product design efforts, both as a lead designer, & as a manager
Have hired, mentored, & coached individual contributor designers, & led a team of at least 3 designers.
Experience working across product design teams & within user-centered specializations including user research, content strategy & design systems.
Practiced ability to create alignment on experience choices with peers & leaders
A grasp of data informed design. You enjoy understanding what motivates customers & have the ability to guide the team on experiments to validate hypotheses.
Ability to thoughtfully communicate objectives & rationale to the team & cross functional partners.
