YOUR ROLE:

As an Associate Director of UX you will be responsible for leading UX Design & research on our top client accounts. You will lead in the transformation of our experience requirements into beautiful experience maps, journeys, flows, wireframes & prototypes. Youll design & lead user testing research to optimize these experiences. You will work closely with experience planners, creative, & copy teams to see experiences through to the finish line. Youll be a trusted advisor to the clients, agency partners & our internal team to help realize our UX goals & overall vision.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading UX design best practices & conducting user research
  • Work with business units to understand the objectives.
  • Help guide discovery sessions.
  • Help build & maintain early UX documents like personas & journey maps.
  • Facilitate design thinking collaboration sessions.
  • Collaborate with technology & creative teams to understand feasibility & brand alignment requirements.
  • Design & iterate on unbelievably cool experiences.
  • Annotate, validate & present defensible cases for the choices youve made to team & clients.
  • Create & manage enterprise-level component design libraries as well as clickable proptotypes using Figma for ideation, solutioning, user testing & development.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 6+ years of UX/IA experience. Interactive agency experience strongly desired.
  • Strong experience in user testing research (test design, test moderation, creating & presenting test results).
  • Beneficial to have supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Experience using leading user testing moderated & unmoderated platforms for research.
  • Produce effective wireframes, design mock-ups, & prototypes to communicate ideas to others.
  • Understanding of the types of experiences that are made possible by current digital technologies.
  • Knowledge of cross-browser, cross-platform, cross-device implementation techniques. As well as cross-channel UX experience (email, text, web, mobile app, etc).
  • Strong experience with design libraries (delopment & management of components at an Enterprise level).
  • Strong expertise in Figma crafting UX deliverables.
  • Experience supporting user usability testing integration. Beneficial to have experience creating and/or moderating user testing.
  • A strong UX portfolio showcasing impactful case studies.
  • The ability to walk your team & clients through your findings & recommendations.
  • The ability to facilitate cross-functional collaboration & group-think sessions.
  • A team player with excellent attention to detail.
  • An understanding of a variety of technology frameworks, usability heuristics & design trends.
  • Strong understanding of emerging AI technologies that impact UX design & research.
  • Beneficial to have financial institutions, pharma and/or automotive client experience.
  • Beneficial to have experience leading offshore resources.

Our Hybrid Work Model:

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections & collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Dallas & multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience & training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
