The role

As Senior Project Manager for Procurement & Supply Chain transformation at HelloFresh International, you will play a pivotal role within the Procurement & Supply Chain function. Your responsibilities will extend to managing & spearheading high-impact projects, concentrating on strategic cost reduction as well as driving organizational & structural transformations that directly influence EBIT & FCF.

In this position, your collaboration with HelloFreshs geographies, distribution centers & finance will be crucial as you take charge of the successful execution of improvement initiatives across HelloFresh International, spanning over 7 geographies in Europe & Australia - New Zealand.

What youll do

• Identify & execute high-impact projects: define project scope, improvement potential & objectives as well as project plans aligned with organizational goals
• Determine cost-saving opportunities across Directs & Indirects category with the Strategic Procurement function (category management). Implement innovative strategies for cost reduction while maintaining quality standards
• Analyze & optimize supplier payment terms, inventory management & cash flow
• Identify & quantify efficiency levers & areas for improvement across HelloFreshs current processes, vendor relationships, & spend
• Utilize data analytics tools to assess key performance indicators. Prepare & present insightful reports to senior management for data-driven decision making
• Collaborate with diverse teams, including Procurement, Finance, Operations, & Quality Control, & manage the timely delivery of project milestones
• Provide dynamic leadership, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, & continuous improvement

What youll bring

• An exceptional academic record with degree from a top-tier college or university (Engineering or Business degrees preferred)
• 5+ years of experience within procurement and/or in a top-tier consulting company complemented by international multi-project management in a fast-paced environment gained in consumer-driven industries
• Demonstrated ability to enforce metrics that drive efficiency, measure performance & reduce costs, combined with a good sense of hands-on mentality & strategic thinking
• Strong capabilities in data analysis, root cause analysis, lean methods, operational modeling, & structuring of complex improvement projects
• Exceptional project management skills
• Exemplary & demonstrable (senior) stakeholder management experience across diverse stakeholder groups
• Progressive supply chain leadership mindset
• Interest to frequently travel abroad to our sites (up to 40%)
• Fluent business English knowledge mandatory; German & other European languages are considered a plus
• Six sigma green belt or similar qualification is a plus
