Associate Director, Production Planning

Factor a brand of HelloFresh is seeking the Associate Director, Production Planning.  The Production Planning team plays a central role in maintaining efficient Operations & delivering for our customers in a high-growth environment. Our AD of Production Planning is responsible for end-to-end end-to-end production planning for our U.S. distribution centers, including addressing day-to-day operational risk, analytical problem-solving, & driving improvement of key performance indicators. We are looking for leaders with strong analytical & dive-deep skills, as well as excellent communication skills & executive presence, who can partner effectively with other leaders across functions to solve problems & execute high-level network decisions on a daily basis.

You will...

• Drive key data needs across labor planning & staffing operations, manage stakeholder expectations, present & interface with internal client stakeholders.
• Conduct analysis of our current Factor operations metrics & identify new key insights to optimize production planning
• Lead continuous improvement projects around planning data inputs & analysis throughout all business units (departments within the operations)
• Work with our internal teams to promote creative analysis of gaps in production delivery
• Partner with HRBP's & hiring managers to to support the implementation of hiring strategies
• Develop specific metric analysis (by site & business unit) 
• Take a data validated approach to your work
• Develop strategic understanding of production planning in order to achieve contracted service level metrics
• Develop, evaluate & implement recommendations for new methods, procedures & approaches to key headcount metrics
• Conduct ROI analysis to support in determining go forward strategies & direction
• Present cost estimations for staffing related incentive programs and/or wage adjustments
• Build, maintain, update, re-forecast MPB budgets
• Travel as needed
• Other projects as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business or relevant field
• 7+ years Fulfillment Operations / Manufacture Operations /Demand Planning (scheduling, planning, forecasting, performance measurements)
• Superior communication; able to cultivate collaborative relationships across all levels
• Ability to solve practical problems & deal with complex variables in situations, navigating ambiguity 
• Strong project management & continuous improvement skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint in addition to the Google Suite of products
• Any experience in implementing automation or on boarding production planning softwares is a plus
