Product Operations AI Curation is Doubleverifys business unit that supports the operations necessary to the development & measurement of Doubleverifys Brand Safety & Suitability solutions. Our team dedicates every day to making the internet a safer place for advertisers, brands, & publishers. We partner with teams across Doubleverify to deliver automated & manual solutions for classification of content in areas ranging from copyright infringement, to violence, to inflammatory news & politics. As a diverse team of AI Curation Specialists, we work together to improve classification products & processes & maintain our industry-leading position in brand safety & suitability for all publishing channels that Doubleverify supports. Our work results in bettering the experience of brands, advertisers, & publishers across the globe, & reducing the ROI of bad actors who seek to circulate harmful or unsuitable content & monetize it through the advertising ecosystem.
In this role, you will be responsible for continuous improvement, coaching & development, & keeping the team with outstanding motivation to do a great job. You will start with a team of 8 - 15 content labeling associates so you must get to know your team, identify strengths & weaknesses to create your action plan & deliver on monthly & quarterly commitments. You will establish a culture infused with DoubleVerifys core values & drive timely delivery of manual classification & curation in close collaboration with DV HQ teams & others. To accomplish this goal, you will work with our Sr. Product Manager, Program Leads, AI Curation Managers, & Senior Director to create & sustain a training program, planning cadence, & KPIs for the teams success.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise & coordinate daily classification / labeling activities of team members.
- Ensure all team members are up to date on training & latest Policy Team updates
- Provide guidance & support to team members, promoting a collaborative & productive work environment.
- Monitor & evaluate employee performance, providing constructive feedback through Lattice at least once per week & implementing improvement plans when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with policies & procedures.
- Identify training needs & coordinate with HQ Teams to ensure they have the necessary support, knowledge & skill to perform with outstanding speed & accuracy
- Foster a culture of teamwork, open communication, & continuous improvement with daily stand up meetings, calibration sessions & feedback
- Address & resolve conflicts within the team in a timely & effective manner, keeping in mind DVs CORE values PACT (Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, Trailblazing).
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes & enhance overall efficiency.
- Track & report key performance indicators (KPIs) to upper management.
- Participate in the hiring process, conducting interviews & making recommendations for team expansion.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, minimum 3 years
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate & inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving & decision-making abilities.
- Organizational & time-management skills.
