The role
HelloFresh is seeking a Global Lead, Incentives & Equity Compensation to design, implement, & manage programs that reward & motivate our global teams. Reporting to the Global Director, Compensation, this role will lead the strategy & administration of equity & variable pay programs across countries, partnering closely with HR, Finance, & Legal to ensure our programs are competitive, compliant, & aligned with HelloFreshs pay philosophy & growth ambitions.
What youll do
Incentives & Variable Pay
- Design, implement, & oversee annual & ad-hoc incentive programs (including sales, performance, & recognition plans) for corporate & local markets.
- Partner with Finance & other stakeholders to model plan costs, track performance metrics, & ensure accurate, timely payouts.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of incentive structures & propose design enhancements to drive alignment with business goals.
Equity & Long-Term Rewards
- Oversee the full equity lifecycle including grant, vesting, release, & reporting processes for global participants.
- Partner with external brokers, Payroll, Finance, & Legal to ensure accurate recordkeeping, tax compliance, & SOX controls.
- Support the annual equity planning & allocation cycle, prepare grant data for leadership & Board review, & lead equity education & communication initiatives.
Governance & Compliance
- Maintain governance frameworks, audit processes, & documentation for all incentive & equity programs.
- Ensure adherence to local labor, tax, & securities regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Support internal & external audits & maintain robust controls related to variable & stock-based compensation.
Analytics & Market Insights
- Conduct market analyses & benchmarking for incentive & equity programs using external surveys & internal data.
- Deliver modeling, cost forecasting, & reporting to inform compensation recommendations & strategic decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes & leverage technology (e.g., Workday, equity platforms) for scale & accuracy.
Collaboration & Partnership
- Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, & Finance to ensure competitive, consistent, & compliant global reward practices.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert on incentive & equity compensation, providing consultative support to regional People teams.
- Support the development of clear communication materials that help employees understand & engage with their rewards.

At a minimum, you have
- Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive compensation experience, including incentive & equity program management in a global or multinational environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for modeling & analytics.
- Experience with HRIS & compensation tools (Workday Advanced Compensation preferred).
- Familiarity with equity administration platforms & brokerage interfaces.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, & presentation abilities.
- Preferred: Certified Equity Professional (CEP) and/or experience supporting deferred compensation programs.
