About the job

Twilio is seeking a G&A Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. This will be a highly visible role, partnering with the Marketing & Legal business teams in supporting budget management, forecasting processes, & analysis. This role will be a strategic business partner & will have the ability to influence & drive process enhancements & decisions across the teams scope.

Responsibilities

In this role, youll:

• Partner with the Marketing & Legal leadership teams to analyze complex business decisions & provide sound financial perspectives.   
• Lead strategic financial planning processes from start to finish for the global Marketing & Legal teams. This includes managing monthly, quarterly, annual, & long-term forecasts, as well as tactical planning with the global teams.
• Partner with the Sourcing & Accounting teams on processes related to managing purchase requisitions & purchase orders. This includes coordination with the teams on the review & approval of PRs/POs & supporting the month end accrual process.
• Manage the OPEX budget & headcount for all teams within the Marketing & Legal organizations.
• Own the in quarter pacing process for the Marketing & Legal spend, & prepare & communicate monthly vendor spend variances.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis, as needed.

Required:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5+ years of finance experience, ideally in a high growth Technology or Software/SaaS environment.
• Experience owning financial reporting & budgeting analysis, including managing in-period pacing of expenses.
• Strong financial & analytical skills & the ability to break financial processes & concepts into specific tasks & simple terms
• Project management & organizational skills, including the ability to partner with Accounting & FP&A teams across the organization
• Ability to communicate clearly & succinctly in prose, presentations, & verbally to multiple levels within the organization.
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills
• Some experience with FP&A systems & tools e.g. Anaplan, Oracle, Tableau
• Understanding of GAAP accounting principles & procedures

Location

This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

• Based in Colorado: $92,800 to $116,000 
• Based in New York, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $98,320 - $122,900
• Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $109,200 - $136,500
• This role may be eligible to participate in Twilios equity plan & corporate bonus plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, & geographic location within the state.
