THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION BASED IN BANGALORE, INDIA

THE ROLE

As the Marketing Automation Manager your role is to elevate our messaging program (email, SMS, WhatsApp communications). The ideal candidate will be an experienced email/messaging marketer with hands-on experience working with a variety of Email Service Providers (ESPs) to deliver communication & engagement results. They will be someone who thinks outside the box to constantly improve processes & eager to be hands-on in the process daily. You will have experience communicating to a global, diverse audience with engaging & informative content. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the management of a full-scale international email/messaging program across multiple ESPs 
  • Collaborating across multiple teams including content, marketing, customer service & product to elevate messaging & delivery
  • Driving continued evaluation & improvements to our email & messaging processes & tools, using data as a guiding light 
  • Developing internal guides on best practices, processes & strategies around email & messaging
  • Implementing best practices within customer communications, delivering positive results based upon improvements tracked through consistent reporting 

THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience producing B2C email/messaging marketing content in financial services, consumer finance, or a similar industry
  • A deep understanding of the importance in addressing a global audience with a strong sense of cultural sensitivity 
  • Superior communication, presentation & facilitation skills with the ability to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences
  • Strong attention to detail & organization, & highly efficient at developing processes
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate a variety of ESPs & CRMs with a strong understanding of HTML
  • Able to produce high quality deliverables on a tight deadline amongst competing priorities
  • A seasoned leader that manages through mentorship & an open line of communication as a team player.  

A passion for financial inclusion & access to higher education is a must, as well as comfort working with a global team across multiple time zones & locations!

In addition, you should be comfortable working in a fast growth environment, meaning a small agile team, fast-evolving roles & responsibilities, variable workload, tight deadlines, & a high degree of autonomy.
