YOUR ROLE:

If you are passionated about technology & planning & want to build customer-centric & data-driven solutions for some of the largest global automotive brands & their customers, then keep reading. We are looking for Director, Automotive Strategy & Planning within the automotive sector.

Your role is to architect omni-channel communication strategies & develop personalized-at-scale content/engagement experiences across paid/owned/earned media collaborating with the creative team to bring these to life, as well as collaborate with our Analytics group to establish the KPIs that matter most, define the learning agenda & optimization plan.

Your strategies are built on meaningful insights from your thorough analysis of the sitiuation across cultural, category & consumer trends. You are an intelligence miner & customer journey architect that help us undertand what moments in the journey we must win, what information customers are looking for, what channels they use & who influences their decisions. 

You understand the growing importance of insight-driven, data-fied, technology-enabled content to build meaningful experiences that progress prospects & customers across the customer journey. As a thought leader you are responsible for the continuous advancement & modernization of the principles that drive best practices in our evolving landscape.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the identification & development of strategic initiatives & deliverables for clients (ranging from brand marketers, product managers to dealers)
  • Lead the creative briefing process unearthing insights that will lead to great work that performs
  • Lead the development of customer journeys focusing on the drivers of behavior that will result in more effective communication strategies
  • Build the content & social media strategy that support the customer journey map
  • Define the channel mix that engage & progress customers along the decision process
  • Work with Analytics to define the marketing KPIs, learning agenda & optimization plan that will increase the effectiveness of each new generation of work
  • Collaborate with your fellow planners
  • Work closely with the creative team to support the development of creative deliverables
  • Partner with the account service/client strategy to define client development plans
  • Evaluate the latest sources of insights & market data as well as syndicated research to ensure that the agency always has access to best-in-class intelligence
  • Engage with our clients to bring our thinking to life from idea development through delivery
  • Engage in public speaking forums regarding cutting-edge planning initiatives

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelors degree required
  • 8-10 years experience in demand generation, customer & digital marketing
  • Automotive experience preferred, ideally with exposure to Tier 2 & Tier 3/dealer-level program activation; understanding of Loyalty Solutions, Fixed Ops, & Retention Marketing for Automotive is a plus
  • Experience in both B2B & B2C
  • Must excel in the development & delivery of presentations (PPT/Keynote) & business case drafting
  • Understanding of precision marketing, programmatic media & marketing automation platforms & how they orchestrate to create addressable, adaptable, always-on, measurable experiences
  • Fluent in market research techniques both quantitative & qualitative, as well as new methodologies that combine both approaches
  • Experience working on a large, integrated accounts a plus
  • We are looking for a natural leader with a strong point of view on how customer marketing must evolve in the digital age.

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections & collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Dallas & multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience & training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
