THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION BASED IN BANGALORE, INDIA
THE ROLE
You will be responsible for supporting & implementing MPOWERs internal communication strategy while also promoting employee engagement & reinforcing the companys culture & values. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting transparency & alignment with the companys strategic goals by developing effective communication strategies. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Creating & implementing internal & external communications strategies, initiatives & activities by liaising with the stakeholders
- Producing engaging content that reflects the companys voice & aligns with its strategic objectives including researching & gathering web data, preparing reports on competitive pricing & other market data, creating bios & briefs
- Researching market dynamics & generating actionable insights by monitoring industry trends & activities of key industry journalists & influencers
- Crafting, refining, & disseminating compelling content across internal communication channels such as impactful email bulletins & dynamic newsletters while providing strategic communications support for internal events, high-level leadership meetings, & engaging employee town halls, where meticulous preparation of persuasive talking points & visually captivating materials is at the forefront
- Facilitating seamless communication with internal & external stakeholders including managing a dynamic calendar, drafting agendas & meeting follow-ups, preparing correspondence, & meticulously planning events with meticulous visa documentation assistance
- Managing administrative tasks seamlessly, including completing expense reports, data management, arranging travel, & coordinating activities while adapting to changing priorities with precision & assisting senior leadership in email coordination with external stakeholders
THE QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a communications role, preferably in an internal communications capacity.
- Excellent writing, editing, & verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational & project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously & meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in digital communication platforms & tools, such as content management systems, email marketing software, & social intranet technologies.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment & adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage & collaborate with stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
A passion for financial inclusion & access to higher education is a must, as well as comfort working with a global team across multiple time zones & locations!
In addition, you should be comfortable working in a fast growth environment, meaning a small agile team, fast-evolving roles & responsibilities, variable workload, tight deadlines, a high degree of autonomy, & 80-20 everything.
