WHY BOX NEEDS YOU 

Box Studios is looking for two eager & dedicated video production interns to assist in the day-to-day production work in our Redwood City studio space.

Box Studios mission is to empower the GTM (Go To Market) org with the strategic use of video marketing to elevate our brand presence, engage our audience, & drive meaningful results. Through innovative storytelling, cutting-edge technology, & data-driven insights, we aim to deliver compelling video content that captivates, educates, & inspires action. We are committed to fostering creativity, collaboration, & continuous improvement to help our organization harness the power of video to achieve our marketing objectives & thrive in a dynamic digital landscape.

At Box Studios we are consistently generating high quality studio/video content to help elevate the Box brand. Our team films webinars, social content, testimonials, live & pre-recorded fireside chats, demos, & much more. The ideal candidates would have a passion & a skillset for video production, lighting, producing, & editing. Working directly with the Sr Video Production Manager, you will be given a unique opportunity to grow your skillset with hands-on real world production experience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Learn how to manage video projects at a professional studio.

  • Operate studio lighting & learn/display proper exposure techniques.

  • Film & operate 4K studio cameras.

  • Audio mixing using professional soundboards & mixers.

  • Learn/operate encoders for live broadcasting.

  • Learn/operate technical direction of live & pre-recorded shows.

  • Use of teleprompter/confidence monitors.

  • Editing various short & live form content for Boxs media channels.

WHO YOU ARE

Required qualifications

  • 1+ years of hands on video production experience.

  • A university student attending or about to attend their senior year with interest in full time work after graduation.

  • Experience using editing software, generating short & long form corporate video content.

  • Experience/working knowledge of video/lighting/audio basic principles.

  • Understand video equipment fundamentals in a production space, able to assemble & bag C-Stands.

Preferred skills

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud software, preferably Premiere Pro. A huge benefit if you have working familiarity with Premieres new AI tools.

  • Hungry for knowledge, the ideal candidate has a can-do attitude & approaches every task with an eagerness to learn.

  • Working knowledge of teleprompter software in a studio environment.

  • Use of the studio software Vmix & familiar with multi camera production.

  • Can provide a showreel with project/spec/corporate bodies of work.
