Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled & experienced professional to join our team as a B2B Senior Manager, Global Marketing Automation. In this role, you will play a key leadership role in optimizing our marketing operations & driving global marketing automation initiatives. As an automation strategist you will be working alongside team members to help build, measure, optimize & scale our marketing programs to drive growth. In this role, youll be responsible for supporting the evaluation of existing marketing journeys, supporting demand generation & integrated marketing campaigns, informing strategic planning, & enhancing overall marketing process, technology, & workflow.
Responsibilities
- Marketing Automation Strategy:
- Develop & implement a global marketing automation strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead efforts to leverage marketing automation for demand generation, lead nurturing, & customer engagement.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage 2 direct reports & mentor them in inbound marketing strategy.
- Foster a collaborative & innovative team culture.
- Campaign Automation:
- Design, build, & execute automated marketing campaigns to drive lead generation, customer retention, & revenue growth.
- Utilize marketing automation platforms to enhance the effectiveness of targeted marketing initiatives.
- Platform Management:
- Oversee the selection, implementation, & management of marketing automation platforms.
- Ensure seamless integration with other systems & tools used across the organization.
- Data Management:
- Maintain the integrity of marketing databases, ensuring data accuracy, compliance with data protection regulations, & proper segmentation.
- Analytics & Reporting:
- Implement robust analytics & reporting mechanisms to measure campaign performance & key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Process Optimization:
- Continuously evaluate & optimize marketing automation processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, & overall effectiveness.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, & IT, to ensure alignment on marketing strategies, goals, & lead management processes.
- Collaborate with department leaders on vision setting & taking ownership of technical development, program execution, reporting, testing & optimization.
- Training & Development:
- Provide training & support to marketing teams to enhance their understanding & utilization of marketing automation tools & best practices.
- Budget Management:
- Manage the budget for marketing automation tools, technologies, & related resources.
- Industry Awareness:
- Stay updated on industry trends & advancements in marketing automation, evaluating their potential impact on the organization.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure accurate & consistent execution of marketing campaigns.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, marketing standards, & industry best practices.
- Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development of the overall marketing strategy, aligning marketing automation efforts with broader organizational goals.
- Vendor Management:
- Build & maintain relationships with marketing technology vendors, staying informed about product updates & enhancements.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in marketing automation roles, with a focus on global initiatives.
- Proven experience managing & leading a team.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing automation platforms, such as Salesforce as a CRM, 6Sense, Adobe Marketo Measure/Bizible, Adobe Marketo Engage, & Google Analytics.
- Experience in understanding the flow of new data pipelines into Marketo and Salesforce.
- Experience in B2B, or regulated industries.
- Experience owning email programs at all levels from strategic planning through coding templates & hands-on deployment.
- Experience working with ABM/B2B clients
- Ability to work East Coast time zone when needed

- Excellent problem-solving & decision-making skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to lead data integration projects using Marketo using custom APIs, many to many relationships, & Custom Objects.
- Experience in SQL & Tableau a plus, but not required.
- Ability to understand, assess, & implement lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, personalization, & other lead/customer management practices.
- A strong understanding of database structure, data hygiene, analytics, & attribution.
