About the job

Twilio is seeking a highly skilled & experienced Workday Leader to join our team as a Senior Manager of Workday Development. As an expert in Integration, Reporting, Prism, & Extend, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing & optimizing our Workday platform to support the professional growth of our Twilions.

This proactive leadership role involves collaborating with internal People teams to implement, optimize, & maintain the Twilio Workday platform. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, maximizing system efficiencies to meet both strategic & operational business needs. Responsibilities

In this role, youll:

  • Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with internal teams & vendors to translate business needs into innovative integration, reporting, & custom business process solutions. Maximize integrations, reports, & Extend functionalities to meet strategic & operational business requirements. Assist in the efforts to develop & execute the Workday strategy & roadmap inclusive of application upgrades, enhancements, & implementation activities that address business plans, vendor product developments & support requirements, while ensuring alignment with business needs & objectives.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure accountability for data integrity, including quality, accuracy, reporting, timeliness, & usability across core systems & related interfaces. Proactively maintain data integrity through audits, reports, & other means.
  • Team Leadership: Manage the performance, development, & training of direct reports to cultivate a highly skilled & engaged workforce. Coach, teach, guide, motivate, & inspire the team, setting goals & ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to develop technology solutions, process improvements, & policy changes, enhancing user experience & process efficiency.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a Workday subject matter expert with a focus on People Integrations, Reporting, & Extend functionalities. Act as an internal consultant for the business, developing strategies & tactics for effective integrations & reporting with enhanced data analytics & visualization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively work with the team to improve system configuration, integrations, & reporting, advancing the quality of information provided to stakeholders. Recommend changes to processes, methods & implement practices that enable the team to become high performing.Awareness & Education: Maintain & promote awareness of Workday system capabilities, new releases, & upgrades, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their impact on existing & future functionality.
  • Implementation Involvement: Participate in & contribute to all phases of internal Workday implementations, from assessing company data to configuring & testing within the Workday system.
  • Business Relationship Building: Build strong internal relationships with key business leaders to define & understand strategic & tactical data requirements.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain the strictest confidentiality in all work aspects & ensure continuous data integrity.

Required:

  • 7+ years of Workday configuration experience with a focus on Integrations, Reporting, & Extend.
  • 4+ years in a management role.
  • Strong team building & people leadership skills, with demonstrated leadership in developing Workday technical staff & skills.
  • Experience with Workday Release Management.
  • Excellent knowledge of PC software, including Microsoft Office applications & Google Workspace.
  • Understanding of data privacy practices & regulations, with discipline in handling highly confidential information.
  • Effective communication & presentation skills across all levels of management.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop & maintain relationships with business units & third-party vendors.

Desired:

  • Workday Pro certifications are a plus.

Location

This role will be remote in Canada, & only eligible to be hired in Alberta, Ontario or British Columbia.

Travel
