Role Description

The Strategic Account Representative team is responsible for acquiring new strategic customers for the business by sourcing & closing high-complexity deals with a combination new customer prospecting & inbound leads.

As a Strategic Account Executive your primary focus will be to qualify & close deal from multiple sources of pipeline generation & maximize new customer revenue within a book of business & territory.

You will be responsible for identifying & establishing relationships with key individuals in target organizations & helping them understand the value that Dropbox & DropboxSign can bring to their business.

Responsibilities

Sales Capability

  • Manage the full-cycle sales with responsibility for generating pipeline & closing deals 
  • Drive conversion/closure of inbound leads, Marketing leads, & create unique deal pipeline via various outbound approaches
  • vast experience in outbounding in a book of business & territory
  • Primary focus on the upper Mid Market

Business/Commercial

  • Working closely with prospects to identify where & how Dropbox can add most value to their organization leveraging the right combination of Dropbox & DropboxSign solutions
  • Partner & collaborate cross-functionally within the broader Global Sales & Channel organization  and engaging key individuals across Solutions & Success teams to build out the very best value propositions for our customers 
  • Delight every Dropbox customer with each interaction & play a key role in developing the market reputation of Dropbox as we scale & evolve our products to meet business customers needs

Product/Technical

  • Deliver impactful product demos, provide insightful technical answers, & recommend creative ways to get the most out of Dropbox solutions
  • Be the voice of the customer to the product team & other cross functional groups in Dropbox

General

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Dropbox products & maintenance contracts 
  • Manage, track, & report sales activities & results using Salesforce

Requirements

  • IC4 - 5+ years sales closing experience - SaaS required
  • Consistent track record of building pipeline & exceeding sales targets
  • Strong prospecting, discovery, negotiation & closing skills 
  • Experience at closing deals due to outbounding efforts & in collaboration with channel teams
  • Excellent collaboration skills & the ability to build long-lasting relationships across your team & the company
  • Attested resilience in a fast-paced, challenging sales environment
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com 
  • Capability to work in a Virtual First environment 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of tools such as Outreach/Zoominfo or similar tools
  • BA or BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
