The Commercial Manager is responsible for developing & supporting New Revenue Streams across our Editions estate. We are looking for an entrepreneurial individual who enjoys managing existing opportunities & also the challenge of finding new ways to grow sales & profitability. One example new revenue stream, is the sale of ancillary products from our Editions sites. The Commercial Manager finds & brings in the best partners & manages the relationships with the key stakeholders (both internal & external).
- Designing, developing & executing the commercial models for new revenue streams
- Bringing top existing & completely new UK & International Partners onto Editions
- Reviewing & managing partner P&Ls
- Proposing & implementing initiatives to maximise growth
- Analysing & driving actions from performance data
- Campaign management - working closely with our Partnerships & Operations teams to deliver valuable campaigns
The role requires strong business development or sales skills with a strong track-record of hitting & exceeding business targets:
- 3+ years in sales, business development or account management
- Entrepreneurial spirit - operational willingness to roll sleeves up
- Strong track-record in hitting & exceeding sales targets
- Ambitious self starter, with drive to make things happen independently & through collaboration
- Proven track record in partner relationship management
- Creative negotiation skills & experience in cross team stakeholder management
- Good understanding of P&L
- Experience in working in a dynamic high-growth company
