The role
As an AI Innovation Specialist in the HelloFresh Studio, you will be part of our content creation team, working to enhance our food, product, & lifestyle imagery & video workflows. Your expertise in agentic AI systems, workflow automation, & integration technologies plays a key role in supporting our global production & postproduction processes. You have hands-on experience building & connecting AI agents & tools through APIs & MCPs, & are confident in handling structured data formats (e.g. JSON) & using CLI tools for integration, automation, & troubleshooting. You combine technical problem-solving skills with a practical mindset, ensuring that AI-driven tools complement creativity & make our teams more efficient.

What youll do

• Design, implement, & maintain AI-driven workflows to support photo, video, & design production
• Build & configure AI agents & connect tools using APIs, MCPs, & automation platforms
• Collaborate closely with production & postproduction teams to identify opportunities where AI can enhance efficiency & creativity
• Prototype & test new AI tools, ensuring scalability, usability, & compliance
• Enable end-to-end automation workflows, for example integrating Jira ticket data with AI generation platforms, handling assets in the DAM, & feeding outputs back into project management systems
• Share knowledge & train colleagues in the use of AI tools & best practices
• Stay up to date with developments in AI, automation, & content creation technologies
  
  

What youll bring

• 3+ years of professional experience working with AI tools, automation platforms, or systems integration
• Proven skills in setting up & maintaining API/MCP connections, confident in handling structured data formats (e.g. JSON) & using CLI tools for integration, automation, & troubleshooting
• Hands-on & advanced user of n8n, confident in designing & managing complex automation pipelines. 
• Familiarity with photo, video, & postproduction workflows
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical & creative teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills & a passion for innovation in media production.
• A practical, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills
