Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Senior Manager to join our Market Partnerships & Performance team.

About the role

This role will execute on Oscars company-wide goals & develop market-specific strategies to drive growth & strong financial performance. This role will focus on driving strategic, streamlined, & collaborative partnerships with our largest health system & provider partners. 

As the Senior Manager of Market Partnerships & Strategy, you will facilitate short & long-term strategic partnership planning, build external-facing relationships with our largest current & potential health system & provider partners, & partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., operations, product, clinical, legal, actuarial, sales & marketing, data, etc.) to ensure our provider partners have the information & support they need to provide best-in-class member care & drive quality outcomes. 

This role also has the opportunity to gro-w into broader ideation, development, & execution of other market growth & financial performance initiatives.

You will report to the South Florida Market Leader (Associate Director of Market P&L).

If you live within commutable distance to our Tempe office (off the 101 at University Ave), we ask you to come into the office at least two days each week. Otherwise, this is a remote / work-from-home role.

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role is: $129,600- $170,100 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscars unlimited vacation program, & annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Generate industry relationships & outreach directly to current & potential network partners to coordinate growth, strategy, & other relationship management efforts. 
  • Support and/or manage team members responsible for the servicing, education & communication to our provider network. 
  • Help inform key business strategies to achieve market goals & mitigate risks.
  • Identify & guide team & org wide initiatives to improve growth, quality, & financial performance across the network. 
  • Develop a provider network management & construction plan for assigned market(s).
  • Manage overall contract negotiations & strategies to bring new partners in our network & renegotiate current agreements.
  • Work closely with teams who monitor assigned networks to gauge compliance with standards & implement corrective actions to remediate deficiencies. 
  • Compliance with all applicable laws & regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A bachelors degree or 4+  years equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of professional experience in healthcare client management, healthcare consulting, or provider healthcare contracting, healthcare finance, performance management, healthcare operations, or a related field
  • 3+ years experience in process improvement & workflow design
  • 4+ years experience running financial analyses on a markets or product lines, & working cross-functionally to drive improvement opportunities & increase growth & profitability
  • 3+ years experience managing employees with demonstrated history of promotions, hiring, & people growth

Bonus Points

  • Healthcare industry, ACA marketplace, quality of care, and/or population health experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience managing employees with demonstrated history of promotions, hiring, & people growth
  • Experience / background in a fast-paced environment

Travel

  • Up to 15%

Pay Transparency: 

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, & experience.
