About the Role

The Senior Photo Studio Manager will oversee Stitch Fixs Atlanta Photo Studio, including its workflows, processes, & people. The Senior Photo Studio Manager will enable highly efficient & elevated output from both our still & on-figure sets, directly manage a team of in-house contributors, & maintain a freelance roster of photographers, art directors, stylists, sample coordinators, & assistants. 

This role will partner closely with the Sr. Director of Creative Operations & other Creative team leadership to develop the overall imagery strategy & approach. Our Senior Photo Studio Manager will create & maintain a thriving studio culture, celebrating the wins & milestones of our talented Photo Studio team.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will

• Oversee Stitch Fix's ecommerce Photo Studio team, directly managing photographers, sample operations, styling, art direction, & digital tech teams in a way that fosters a thriving studio culture.
• Provide mentorship, development & performance management to your team, removing roadblocks as needed.
• Manage all projects, tests, & launches from beginning to end, ensuring all parties are properly informed, timelines are met, & milestones are clearly defined.
• Communicate Photo Studio priorities, projects & initiatives clearly to Creative senior leadership, in order to adjust operational strategies in real-time & enhance the effectiveness of the Photo Studio team.
• Create & ensure that the Photo Studio budget is met, & that business priorities, projects, & initiatives are efficiently executed. You will set & measure KPI's for your team, including evaluating production metrics & consistently streamlining processes.
• Build strong relationships with cross functional partners such as our merchandising team, as well as other vendors, freelancers & agencies.
• Continuously look for innovations for the studio, staying up to date on newest technology, imaging innovations, & workflow systems.

Were excited about you because

• You have 8+ years experience in a high-volume studio, with at least 3+ years in a studio leadership role (experience in an apparel retail or ecommerce studio a plus).

• You are curious & excited about creating high quality images at a high volume while navigating business complexities & technical challenges.
• You are self driven & a critical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment & can balance multiple high-priority initiatives at once.
• You have a proficiency in workflow tools & an understanding of studio performance metrics to forecast output, using that data to develop, recommend, & unlock solutions for your team.
• You are able to serve as the voice of the Photo Studio drive collaboration & support with cross-functional partners in a matrixed organization.
• You are comfortable delivering coaching & feedback & are able to build partnership & trust within your team.
