CLEAR is seeking a qualified Threat Detection Analyst II to join our Security Operations Center. In this role, you will work with partners from across the organization to investigate notable security events. By leveraging your expertise, youll drive efficiencies in threat analysis & safeguard sensitive data to protect what matters most.

What you'll do:

• Serve as the initial responder to notable security events & escalations through email, phone, & ticketing systems from across corporate networks, data centers, & cloud environments
• Support the remediation of critical information security incidents by collaborating with incident response team members
• Document & communicate findings effectively, escalate promptly, & maintain strong communication with internal & external stakeholders
• Continuously evaluate & refine security processes, contributing to a dynamic & adaptive security posture
• Stay up to date with the evolving IT threat landscape, including emerging security trends & threats
• Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to diverse client infrastructures, scopes, & technologies
• Contribute to creating & optimizing security alert content, enhancing threat detection capabilities
• Mentor junior team members by providing training, guidance, & acting as an escalation point for complex notable events
• Be prepared to fulfill on-call responsibilities & respond to notable events/incidents outside of standard working hours, as needed
• Perform additional duties as required to enhance the organization's security posture

• Introduce new threat detection alert logic
• Complete projects on time

What you're great at:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with 2+ years in a security operations & analysis role
• Certifications such as GCIH, GCIA are highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of SIEM tools, EDR solutions, & other security technologies
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST CSF, or ISO 27001
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, & communication skills
