About the Role 

iCapital is looking to hire a Fund Accounts Payable Associate or Assistant Vice President to join the Corporate Finance team. This role will assist mainly in Accounts Payable (AP) functions for the companys Fund Finance business as well as assist in other month end close responsibilities, treasury operations & ongoing projects, enhancements, & process improvements. 

Responsibilities 

  • Process high volumes of invoices into accounts payable system (Coupa); Routing, validating, inputting, coding correctly in Coupa AP System. 
  • Manage incoming invoice mailbox for AP & timely responses to internal teams as well as external vendors.  
  • Assist with invoicing & bill-out of Corporate Fund Reimbursables. Tracking & collecting receivables in a timely manner.  
  • Facilitate & monitor invoice approvals & AP aging, & provide invoice statuses. 
  • Reconcile vendor statements & research & resolve payable discrepancies as needed. 
  • Generate comprehensive reports for internal stakeholders regarding payments, receivables, & payables for Fund Finance.    
  • Manage allocations of shared expenses across multitude of funds & book reclasses accordingly in the general ledger. 
  • Assist with preparing journal entries for cash reconciliations as needed & overseeing invoice & fund status changes. 
  • Able to take on new, challenging assignments on an ad-hoc basis. 

 

Qualifications 

  • 3-10 years of relevant professional experience 
  • Experience with Coupa preferred  
  • Degree in Accounting & knowledge of booking journal entries preferred 
  • Proficient with Excel & Power Point  
  • Able to manage large sets of data & be able to implement checks & balances 
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, detail-oriented with big picture capability 

Benefits 

The base salary range for this role is $85,000 to $115,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, & an annual performance bonus.
