Job Description

As a Senior Project Manager within the Continuous Improvement & Transformation function at HelloFresh International, you will play a pivotal role within the Procurement & Supply Chain function. In close collaboration with the Procurement, Food Safety & Quality, Production & Inventory teams you will be responsible to support all quality improvement initiatives. In this position, your collaboration with HelloFreshs geographies, distribution centers & finance will be crucial as you take charge of the successful execution of improvement initiatives spanning over multiple DCs across Australia - New Zealand.

You will

  • Determine reduction opportunities for customer complaints (Errors) across Procurement & Supply Chain, FSQA, & other functions. Implement innovative strategies for Error reduction while maintaining quality standards
  • Lead process reviews at our distributions centers & our suppliers & hold accountable for meeting HelloFresh specifications & waste targets (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Lean Manufacturing)
  • Design, iterate & rollout process, system & tool improvements that will achieve KPI targets. Use benchmarking & best practice exchange where available to maximize existing market & business knowledge.
  • Problem solving - Identify, prioritize, structure, & solve an array of other complex business problems, using analytics & business judgment
  • Collaborate with diverse teams, including Procurement, Finance, Operations, & Quality Control, & manage the timely delivery of project milestones. Create a task-force approach & spirit within the procurement community to provide execution support to our Category Managers & Distribution Centers
  • Benchmarking, best practice exchange & standardization of sourcing & supply chain processes to optimize handling, ensure products meet quality standards & food surplus is minimized
  • Utilize data analytics tools to assess key performance indicators. Prepare & present insightful reports to senior management for data-driven decision making
  • Provide dynamic leadership, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, & continuous improvement

You have

  • An exceptional academic record with degree from top-tier college or University (Engineering or Business degrees preferred)
  • 5-6 years of experience within procurement, supply chain management and/or continuous improvement in operations or in a top-tier consulting company complemented by international multi-project management in a fast-paced environment gained in consumer driven industries
  • Solid competency in data analysis, lean methods, problem solving techniques, root cause analysis, & structuring of complex improvement projects
  • Six sigma green belt or similar qualification is a plus 
  • Exceptional project management skills with exemplary stakeholder management experience across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Superior analytical skills & operational modeling capabilities connected to strategic thinking
  • People management experience, leading & developing a team of 1-2 people
  • Progressive supply chain leadership mindset 
  • Demonstrated ability to enforce metrics that drive efficiency, measure performance & reduce costs, combined with a good sense of hands on mentality
  • Interest to frequently travel abroad to our sites (up to 70%)
  • Optional: Experienced with leading cultural Transformations towards CI (Performance Behaviour, Shingo Audit ).
