An Intermediate QA reports to a QA Lead. Works closely with QA lead, QA Subject Matter Experts, other QA members, Project managers, designers & developers to ensure QA standards & client satisfaction are delivered. He/She provides execution of QA tasks with speed & great quality for the overall agility of the QA team.

You will:

• Be co-responsible for the quality of projects based on the requirements & design specifications.
• Responsible for attending meetings providing status, taking notes & providing feedback when needed.
• Able to communicate test results, issues, & risks found to project team members, project managers, & QA management through the different channels.
• Identify test data.
• Create & maintaining comprehensive test plans
• Write & maintaining test cases/scripts
• Create traceability matrix documents based upon project requirements.
• Create checklist documentation based upon project requirements.
• Perform functional & non functional testing
• Effectively communicating statuses
• Apply industry standard testing methodology, strategies & industry best practices.
• Create defect tickets & track issues to resolution.
• Report creation & related metrics at different levels when necessary
• Support the team on onboarding co-workers and/or junior staff members.
• Able to execute regression tests based on design specifications & requirements.
• Expected to support QA estimations if needed.
• Expected to fully understand project life cycle & industry standards.
• Expected to fully understand testing methodologies.
• Expected to ask all necessary questions when tasks, requirements or information isnt clear or missing.
• Identify & raise risks.
• Able to work with other team members to ensure the success of projects.
• Able to analyze & understand details & requirements of projects & tickets.

You have:

• Advanced English level (B2+/C1).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance (Mid level).
• Bachelors degree in software engineering or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies for software development.
• Experience working with local & offshore teams.
• Experience in task management & defect tracking tools like Jira and/or similar.
• Extensive knowledge of Windows or MacOS software is expected.
• ISTQB Certification is a plus
• Other QA related certifications are a plus
• Mastery of office productivity tools such as Excel, Word, MS Project, Visio, & PowerPoint.
• Desirable knowledge of collaboration & issue tracking tools such as Box, Jira, Confluence.
• QA testing tools: Browser Stack, Device emulators, Web tools.
