As a Senior Software Engineer at Rockerbox, you will play a key role in shaping the systems that power our products. Youll partner closely with product managers to define requirements, design intuitive data endpoints, & deliver seamless integrations between backend services & user interfaces. This role involves building scalable, reliable solutions that enhance application performance & enable smarter data-driven experiences. If you enjoy working across the stack, crafting optimized structures for UI consumption, & deploying resilient systems with modern technologies, this is the role for you.
 

What Youll Do

• Work closely with product managers to define product requirements, deliver features, & ensure smooth integration of backend services with user interfaces.
• Design & develop scalable solutions that enhance application functionality, data efficiency, & overall system performance.
• Architect data endpoints using a semantic layer to effectively transform source data into intuitive, optimized structures suitable for UI consumption.

Who You Are

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering. Demonstrated success in building, owning, & maintaining production systems that prioritize reliability, scalability, & performance.
• Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript with experience building & delivering analysis or dashboarding products.
• Expertise in SQL for data querying, analysis, & database interactions.
• Exposure to React in a professional or educational capacity.
• Experience with orchestration, containerization, & Kubernetes for scalable deployments.
• Effective communicator, capable of clearly conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on a number of non-discriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, & balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV.
The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between [$107,000 - $193,000]. This role will also be eligible for bonus/commission (as applicable), equity, & benefits.
