HelloFresh is looking for a strategic, data-driven, & solution-focused Senior Manager, Outbound Marketing Strategy to lead & optimize our high-impact & high-potential outbound marketing channel. You will own the outbound call center channel strategy & performance for millions of customers across all our brands. This role is responsible for shaping & scaling this critical yet underutilized channel by developing, testing, & implementing strategies to improve customer experience, optimize performance, & enhance operational efficiency. You will bring strong analytical skills to identify new business opportunities to engage with our customers via outbound calls based on deep understanding of customer behaviors, their pain points, as well as our business updates & product innovations. Additionally, you will establish outbound calls as a key source of customer sentiment insights & leverage those learnings to drive improvements across marketing, product, & customer experience. In this high visibility role, you will closely collaborate with cross functional stakeholders, including Legal, Customer Care, Operations, Procurement, as well as external vendors to drive a long-term sustainable business impact.
You will
- Develop & own the strategic vision & roadmap for the outbound call channel, focusing on scalability, profitability & compliance
- Design & execute outbound communication campaigns. Own & steer campaign performance to maximize scale, ROI & efficiency.
- Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams across North America & International counterparts to align outbound call strategies with broader business objectives.
- Manage & partner with external call center vendors to deliver high performance in line with our channel & business objectives.
- Develop, experiment & optimize new use cases, segmentation, messaging, offers, & customer experience strategies.
- Develop at-scale analyses & communication pathways that will allow customer insights from outbound calls to inform product strategies & broader marketing campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory & legal requirements in outbound calling operations.
- Monitor & analyze performance data, translating insights into actionable recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
- Drive operational excellence by building effective processes, & defining key performance metrics.
- Continuously challenge the status quo, defining & developing strategic initiatives to improve channel performance & processes through analysis, business case creation, new mechanisms, & project management.
- Evaluate & implement tools to enhance efficiency & effectiveness of outbound call channel operations.
You are

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate both quantitative & qualitative customer data into meaningful insights to inform strategies, optimize performance & drive innovation.
- Project management & operational execution skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience influencing senior leadership & working across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience managing third-party vendor relationships & optimizing performance.
- Strong ownership & drive to deliver results, with experience prioritizing for highest impact & making trade-off decisions in a fast-paced environment.
You have
- BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or related fields with a strong academic record. MBA Preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in management consulting, growth / performance marketing, or marketing analytics, preferably at a high-growth organization
- Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, & business acumen
- Ability to evaluate & prioritize initiatives to maximize business impact
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Experience in Google Sheets, and/or Excel
- Experience in outbound sales, call center operations and/or telemarketing is a strong plus
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in outbound marketing (TCPA, GDPR, etc.) is a strong plus.
- Ability to use SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Tableau is a plus
- Experience managing customer lifecycle & segmentation strategies is a plus
