Field Learning Specialist
Onsite -Aurora, IL
Shift- Sunday to Thursday
As the Field Learning Specialist for Factor_, you will be responsible for developing & executing onboarding & recurring training programs for all new & existing team members from our hourly team members to senior leadership. You have the autonomy to identify training gaps & develop a plan of execution to ensure all employees are operating at their full potential.
Key Responsibilities & Job Elements
- Facilitate large group & individual level training covering a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas that will include lectures, demonstrations, meetings, & workshops.
- Partner with department leaders to identify & prioritize technical & skills gaps, while partnering with subject matter experts to learn the standard process/behavior for department roles.
- Perform administrative functions necessary to document training programs & track employee training & progress.
- Manage technical training events including arrangement of equipment procurement, room reservation, & facilities requests.
- Evaluate effectiveness of training programs for incorporation of taught skills & techniques into employee work behavior & revise accordingly.
- Communicate & work with managers & supervisors to coordinate & schedule training.
- Drives the execution of all learning related audits & supports any operational audit initiatives.
- Tracks performance & supports any identified retraining opportunities.
- Audits Powered Industrial Equipment Training program & trainer standard work.
- Act as lead & provide guidance to Ops Trainers.

- Implement & evaluate training plans, curricula, & methodology.
- Communicate effectively both written & verbal, & to listen, question, interpret, & clarify.
- Present complex information & respond to questions from a variety of audiences.
- Solve practical problems & detect or identify training problems proactively.
- High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, & the ability to manage time effectively while delivering high -quality results in a fast paced environment.
- Work flexible schedule including nights, weekends & some holidays.
- Highly motivated, self-starter who can work well under minimal supervision, as well as take a proactive approach in being team-oriented
Basic Qualifications
- Associate Degree with 4+ years of professional experience in technical training in a regulated environment or Bachelors degree with 2+ years of professional experience in technical training in a regulated environment preferred
- Have excellent communication, presentation, facilitation skills, & the ability to coach others.
- Advance skills with computer hardware & software.
- Advance skills in Microsoft Suite & Google Suite.
- Experience in warehouse, distribution or fulfillment center environment.
