As the Advertising Sales Director, in our London office, you will lead & grow Taboolas Enterprise advertiser agency business by running a team of sellers & account managers - working to land new opportunities & grow our incredible momentum in this market & scale the business further.
You will join our growing team & focus on building & managing long-term strategic partnerships with Tier 1 agencies across the Region. As a highly-valued & proactive individual, you will contribute to Taboolas growth by advocating the power of our platform across agency accounts. Success in this role is based on consistent prospecting/networking & pipeline development, new client acquisition/activation, client retention/growth, & achievement against progressive total revenue goals. We operate in a matrixed environment, with support from a skilled team of account managers, media planners, creative strategists & agency development leaders. To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Minimum of 10 years in a key sales leadership position, selling solutions to UK clients
- Must come with experience of directly managing, recruiting & developing a sales team of at minimum 6 people
- Significant experience in structuring & negotiating deals a must to have such experience within the digital media space
- Experience mentoring sales people & paving the way for them to excellent performance
- Experience independently build, pursue & close a large pipeline of leads
- Technologically Savvy ability to learn what is needed to support deals successful implementation & optimization
- Experienced in building a great sales culture & team camaraderie
- Ability to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment & consistently learn, adapt & develop.
How youll make an impact:
As an Advertising Sales Director, youll bring value by:
- Manage a team of agency sellers & account managers to land & scale new business, focusing on our ideal customer profile
- Effectively manage client expectations & ensure successful campaign management
- Manage a robust pipeline & accurately forecast new business closure rate
- Set clear goals & KPIs for the team, regularly tracking & optimizing performance
- Understand clients organization & offer multiple Taboola products to a given client by finding the right stakeholders for each product
- Gain excellent understanding of digital technology, video, & revenue ecosystem to be able to explain product benefits within this context
- Work closely with the Country Manager to consistently achieve & exceed revenue goals
- Work closely with the agency team to ensure we are hitting trading deal revenue targets & unlock new opportunities
- Represent Taboola at in person events including speaking slots
- Interact with our project implementation team to effectively manage client expectations & ensure successful implementation of our products & technology
- Convey feedback from clients to Taboolas product team regarding product development needsHave an active social & on stage presence, actively building your network
