THE POSITION

FanDuel is seeking a Senior Director of Growth Marketing to shape & lead our acquisition strategy across our national lines of business Fantasy Sports & Horse Racing. In this role, you will devise strategy, build frameworks, structure solutions, & drive & measure results in critical areas of the business. You will work cross-functionally with product, commercial, operations, & other areas of marketing to improve our customer acquisition rate & new customer experience. This is a high-profile leadership role with the opportunity to make a material impact on the business outcome for FanDuel Group.
THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play
- Accountable for performance of all acquisition & activation strategies for FanDuel Fantasy, FanDuel Racing & TVG properties
- Ensure we continue to dominate our existing markets as well as help pave the way to quickly take leadership positions in new markets as gaming regulations evolve in the US
- Partner with the media team to drive efficient acquisition & push the envelope for new areas & opportunities
- Build & own the acquisition budgets & activation plans across all our P&Ls
- Mature our acquisition practice by constantly iterating & improving our reporting, insights, experiments & partners
- Leverage data sets to develop & drive strategic priorities
- Balance big-picture strategic work with executional excellence
- Lead & influence other teams to help deliver growth & broader commercial targets
- Foster a test & learn culture that continues to improve our performance & processes
- Raise the bar for how we think about our new customers & the experience that we deliver for them
- Role model best in class cross functional practices
- Identify, develop, build & lead a high performing team
THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate
- 8+ years of experience in digital/growth marketing with a focus on consumer acquisition
- 4+ years of managerial experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or Analytical field (or other relevant discipline) preferred
- Strong communication skills & experience influencing senior leadership teams
- Proven growth mindset; Product led, data driven & highly creative
- Results oriented, with the need to be objective & measure performance
- Metrics driven & continuously seeking improvement of marketing efforts to increase quality & productivity
- Track record of delivering strong business outcomes & building & motivating high performing teams
- Strong analytical rigor to your decision making
- Proficient in a range of tools across the marketing stack: eg Amplitude, Adjust, GA, Chartio preferred
- Interest in the sports gaming industry preferred
