Role Description
As a Marketing Automation Manager working on the Dash Growth team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, & optimizing our Email strategies. This role requires a blend of analytical thinking, technical skills, & creativity to deliver successful programs at scale. With a focus on cross-sell & engagement, you will develop the foundations for our email marketing efforts & have a direct impact on our Growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Email Strategy Development: Partner with the Growth teams to create the strategy for email with a focus on cross-sell & engagement of users from within our existing Dropbox customer base.
- Design & Delivery: Lead the execution of building high-performing emails & prompts by partnering with agencies & using internal marketing automation systems.
- Data-Driven Experimentation: Develop a pipeline of experiments to implement a rigorous testing framework that allows us to rapidly learn & operationalize wins.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor & analyze campaign performance, providing insights & recommendations for continuous improvements.
- Customer Insights & Segmentation: Utilize deep customer insights to segment the audience effectively & tailor marketing campaigns that resonate with each segment.
- Collaboration & Alignment: Work closely with Product & Channel owners to create learning feedback loop & ensure that strategies are aligned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science or a related field
- 610 years of experience in marketing automation with a proven track record of successfully implementing email programs that drive growth
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL to effectively measure results & inform marketing strategies & decisions
- Experienced at running A/B tests to rapidly experiment, operationalize, & optimize
- Deep understanding of industry standards & best practices for email marketing
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to partner with key stakeholders in achieving collaborative goals
- Innovative mindset, with an eye for identifying & pursuing new growth opportunities in a dynamic market landscape
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with other Marketing Automation channels such as Prompts or Push Notifications a plus
- Experience using Marketing Automation & Experimentation tools such as Iterable & GrowthBook
- Experience working in Tech/SaaS companies
