About the Role:

As an Inventory Technician, you will coordinate pharmacy inventory levels by ordering pharmaceuticals through direct accounts, vendors, & suppliers. You will perform special studies & execute inventory related projects. You will answer inquiries about inventory availability & assist in ordering & tracking daily inventory orders.

What You'll Do:

  • Ensure the uninterrupted flow of products to assigned pharmacy locations through appropriate purchasing procedures.
  • Coordinate resolution of all inventory order problems (i.e. back orders, manufacturer outs).
  • Periodically coordinate review of inventory for expired, damaged, or overstocked medications.
  • May assist in processing recall notices when necessary & coordinate removal of product from shelves.
  • Comply with local, state, & federal laws, regulations, & policies.


  • You have a High School diploma or GED & have 1+ years of pharmacy experience or relevant inventory experience.
  • You have a PTCB certification (preferred).
  • You are proficient in G Suite or MS Office & have experience with vendor coordination & service level management.
  • You are able to interact with confidential & sensitive information with discretion.
  • You possess organizational skills & strong problem-solving skills to resolve issues with orders, invoice payments, etc.
  • Familiarity with general pharmacy terminology a plus (SIG codes, brand & generic names of medications.
  • You are capable of standing for long periods of time & able to lift & carry up to 5lbs for the duration of your shift.
