The role
As a Lead, Indirect Personnel Controlling Manager, you will be an integral part of HelloFresh's mission to empower our Leadership teams with financial insights & processes that elevate the effectiveness of how we plan & report our corporate personnel costs. Your work will directly contribute to optimizing our Group budgeting process & enhancing operational excellence. You will work on strategic initiatives to refine the quality of our personnel data, increase reporting accuracy, & ensure budget adherence.

What youll do
- Develop & implement a long-term vision for indirect (corporate) personnel controlling processes to support our Global & local Leadership teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FP&A, Accounting, People, Finance Systems & Automation to enhance & automate reporting in relation to personnel costs to meet the needs of senior stakeholders.
- Coordinate the budget process for indirect (corporate) personnel, collaborating with senior leaders across the Group to ensure an accurate & timely submission.
- Analyze & report on personnel expenditure versus budget & prior periods, using data to identify trends & insights & to support decision-making at all organizational levels.
- Collaborate with Finance teams in our local markets to ensure consistency & transparency in the budgeting, accounting & reporting of local entity nuances, such as voluntary & statutory benefits.
- Design, implement & maintain Group-wide reporting & analysis of intercompany personnel recharges to optimise recharged cost transparency for local Leadership.
What youll bring
- 5+ years of experience in financial controlling, FP&A, or a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing budgets, financial analysis, & forecasting with a good understanding of accounting for personnel costs. Previous experience with intercompany recharges is a plus.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams & present financial insights to senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, & advanced Excel skills. Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, & manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
