We're looking for a Global Accounts Payable Lead to join our dynamic Procure to Pay (P2P) team & help shape the future of our finance operations. This isnt your typical Accounts Payable (AP) role. Whilst you'll own the essential responsibilities of day-to-day invoice & payment processing global function, your impact will go far beyond traditional operations. Youll have the space & support to re-imagine how AP is done using tools like AI, automation, & data insights to drive meaningful improvements across systems, compliance, & scale.

Responsibilities
- Lead & manage the Global Accounts Payable function, responsible for the global AP life cycle across NAMER/EMEA/APAC, from timely invoice processing to global payments, ensuring compliance with internal controls, tax rules, & banking standards.
- Build, mentor, & lead the AP team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, & excellence.
- Develop & implement AP policies, processes, & controls that support scalability, efficiency, & compliance across multiple entities & jurisdictions.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows & reduce friction, & lead efforts to implement smarter systems or automation.
- Partner with Procurement, FP&A, Tax, ITS, Treasury, Accounting & other cross-functional teams to align AP operations with broader business goals & financial strategies.
- Ownership of AP compliance across multiple tiers e.g. SOX, 1099 reporting, local reporting requirements.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, & annual close processes related to AP, including reconciliations & audit support.
Requirements
- 5+ years of AP experience in a high-volume, global, tech-savvy environment
- People management experience with multiple direct reports & proven ability to coach, mentor, & develop team members
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with senior management, large/small groups & one-on-one
- Flawless attention to detail, paired with excellent time management & prioritization skills
- An analytical mindset with a passion for optimizing processes & leveraging technology to drive scale
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, & energized by the chance to build & improve system
- Working knowledge of internal controls, compliance practices, & finance operations best practices
