We are looking for an experienced sales professional to join our Key Accounts team within the Global Mid-Market Hotel Solutions group.  Our team builds exceptional, strategic, & long-term relationships with the largest & most valuable hotel companies within the Hotel Solutions portfolio.  We find ways to solve our clients many business challenges with a variety of Tripadvisor solutions, thereby supporting our customers & driving revenue for Tripadvisor.  We work across multiple internal & external stakeholders to ensure we find the right strategy for each of our partners. 

As a Sr. Key Account Executive at TripAdvisor, you will work with both existing & new customers, engage in a consultative sales approach, demonstrate our business value & ultimately sell Tripadvisor solutions to our clients.  You will have access to training, processes & tools to support success in this role. The ideal candidate will have strong sales DNA, be results-driven, execution-focused & customer-oriented. 

You are the right person for this role if you are proactive, motivated, strategic, organized, & able to work well in a fast-paced, highly-driven & entrepreneurial environment. This role requires excellent sales & communications skills as well as effective relationship-building talents.  Beyond that, we are seeking sales experience in e-commerce, SAS, & other digital platforms along with demonstrated success with exceeding sales targets.  

What Youll Do:

  • Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they do not turn to competition

  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs & requirements

  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives

  • Provide in-depth product demonstrations along with the ability to negotiate & close new business 

  • Consultatively position our hotel solutions, value proposition & benefit for business success 

  • Modify customer engagement to overcome objections & win customers; identify solutions to issues & concerns. 

  • Be capable of engaging with prospects appropriate to their needs & metrics (i.e. Return-on-Investment, traffic, views, & sessions) 

  • Achieve & exceed agreed sales targets monthly & quarterly on revenue, conversion number of new customers & other related KPIs 

  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers & internal teams

  • Resolve issues & problems faced by customers in a profitable manner.  

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years sales experience, preferably selling into more complex organizations

  • Bachelors Degree 

  • Bi-lingual (German, French or Spanish) 

  • Inside Sales or Key Account Sales.  Preferably in Acquisition or Business Development. 

  • Excellent written & oral communication in the relevant language/s of the country covered 

  • Demonstrated sales aptitude (negotiation & closing) with relentlessly high standards 

  • Not intimidated by technical interaction, co-browsing with customer on-line 

  • Target driven & proven self-starter with ability to deliver on initiatives without constant supervision 

  • Territory & pipeline management experience using a CRM (Salesforce) 

  • Coachability, openness to feedback & dedication to consistent self-improvement
