Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Senior Manager, Insights to join our Concierge Strategy & Optimization team.

About the role

The Senior Manager of Insights will use the insights gained through research to provide the consumers' point of view to improve & drive our experience efforts & ensure Oscar's external partners are at the forefront of conversations & decisions.

You will work with business leaders to implement experience strategies & drive issue resolution for identified problems impacting stakeholder experience.

You will report to the Director of Strategy & Optimization. This is a remote role, you will work remotely in one of the following states: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Washington. Note, this list of states is subject to change.

Responsibilities

  • Organize root cause analysis to translate experience data into meaningful insights & areas for improvement for Oscar's overall ecosystem
  • Analyze quantitative data/results & understand the 'why' behind the data, identifying the important insights that tell a story & creating applicable strategies
  • Manage relationships to promote multi department collaboration & issue resolution improving stakeholder experience
  • Be an internal consumer insights consultant who partners across the organization to understand needs & influence decisions
  • Use a full range of insight generating tools to foster a deeper understanding of consumers to ensure decisions are grounded in relevant insights
  • Socialize consumer insights throughout organization to create visibility & reinforcement of the Insight team's efforts, building an understanding of the importance of putting consumers first
  • Achieve program strategy including determining & uncovering opportunities for improvement
  • Development of direct reports, ensuring that colleagues are supported in professional development

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience managing, driving & overseeing projects.
  • 4+ years of leadership experience
  • Experience using data & metrics to improve programs
  • Experience delivering projects / programs independently & within a team environment
  • Experience defining a problem, designing an approach, & using a variety of sources of data (primary, secondary, third-party) to answer a question

Bonus Points

  • Lean or Six Sigma certification
  • Experience in appeals & grievances, operations management, insurance operations, quality improvement (e.g, NCQA), consulting, or process improvement
  • Knowledge of IFP & Medicare regulatory requirements
  • Healthcare experience (Health Insurance, Health Systems, or Healthcare Consulting)
