Overview
We are looking for an ambitious & energetic candidate to join our Sales Development team as a Sales Development Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for targeting economic buyers / executive leaders within SMB businesses (up to $50 million in revenue) then converting prospects into qualified opportunities. You will work closely with Senior Account Executives to execute outreach & engagement programs that align with account plans & priorities. Aside from prior experience, you will need strong knowledge of developing & executing on outreach plans that result in engagement with executive decision makers.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospects to identify high quality opportunities
- Research target SMB companies online in order to pre-qualify as sales opportunities
- Demonstrate the value propositions of our products & services
- Manage a high volume of leads in Salesforce.com to accurately & efficiently build pipeline
- Excel at qualifying each opportunity properly to ensure the right level of follow up
- Schedule deep dive discovery calls for the executive sales team
- Follow up on various marketing campaigns & events with the goal of sourcing
- Continuously develop sales & technology skills
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1 year of outbound B2B cold calling experience
- Self-motivated & driven to succeed
- Proven track record of accomplishments & over-achievement of goals
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a consultative sales role
- Experience with Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn & Lusha
- Desire to move into a role closing new business
