About the Role

iCapitals continued rapid expansion in the international marketplace creates an opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in consulting/strategic change & wealth and/or asset management (ideally alternative/private markets) to join a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This is a newly created role within the Product Development & Origination APAC team focused on delivering market entry & expansion initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region.  You will be responsible for supporting the management & delivery of multiple projects of strategic importance to iCapitals rapid APAC expansion, including operating model design, implementation & supporting new fund launches.  This will require working with a range of colleagues across functions & geographic locations & coordinating external partners & subject matter experts, as required.

This person will be based in Singapore, reporting to the Head of Strategic Projects  in London & Head of Product Development & Origination APAC, based in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Support the team to design a roadmap to capturing APACs strategic priorities within iCapitals global project roadmap.
• Support to define, track & deliver project plans to deliver on identified priorities & business initiatives.
• Support the development of an APAC target operating model to support & scale the local business, whilst ensuring global alignment
• Coordinate with internal & external key stakeholders.
• Ensure the projects are following defined governance framework & reporting processes to ensure robust oversight, tracking & delivery of target projects
• Provide project management support to the fund launches
• Such projects may include:
  • Developing local market fund offerings for new geographies
  • Adjusting our offering to deepen penetration in existing markets
  • Enhancing alternative fund structuring capabilities across jurisdictions
  • Developing robust & scalable processes (incl. governance & operational framework) to deliver effective multiple fund launches across jurisdictions simultaneously

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree and/or masters degree.
• 5+ years of relevant consulting/project management/business analyst experience, probably within a consultancy or financial/professional services firm
• Experience in asset and/or wealth management industries for alternative asset classes
• Experience working across borders & in multiple markets
• Experience with Target Operating Models, financial regulatory requirements & processes
• Positive attitude, & a desire to work in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks & prioritize assignments
• Ability to engage, coordinate & motivate diverse teams of experts to deliver against tight deadlines
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office & project management tools
• Strong analytical skills
• Fluency in English requiredboth written & verbal.
• Fluently in an Asian language is plus (if the candidate is fluent in Japanese is an advantage).
