We are seeking a global leader with Retail Media experience who can drive revenue & increase customer satisfaction by developing & cultivating strategic retailer & brand relationships & delivering customized solutions aligning to their needs.   

Rithums Retail Media enables retailers & brands to implement, automate & scale their brand-funded digital marketing programs. We sit at the intersection of marketing & e-commerce & have a singular mission of empowering retailers & brands to maximize their e-commerce performance. The global leader of Retail Media in the Go To Market organization reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, enables Rithum to prospect, engage & develop partnerships with strategic retailers & brands by applying customer obsession to what clients care about & need, ensuring our Retail Media story is valued & understood, & acting to not only close deals but also build successful, long-term relationships.  

The Global Retail Media leader develops & maintains industry connections & customer relationships anchored on connections with C-level executives & Business & Technical Decision Makers in retailers organizations. The Global Retail Media leader develops quality pipelining plans laying out revenue & growth strategies.  

Success is measured by specific success indicators focused on pipeline development & signing new deals, emphasizing customer experience, & optimizing opportunities. This leader performs their role with execution excellence to drive client success & business results. They also drive both revenue & customer satisfaction.

This is a critical role in accelerating our growth in retail media by signing new retailers & enabling them to rapidly & successfully leverage our technology & services to build substantial revenue streams.  

Strategic Sales Planner  

  • Develops, leads, & executes Retail Media sales strategy & priorities to build pipeline & growth of existing & new products. Purposefully positions outcomes within the context of the retailers digital marketing/retail media journey from current to future state. 

Relationship Builder  

  • Influences CMO & Chief Digital Marketing Stakeholders through Relationship Building. Acts as a compelling storyteller, leads with emotional intelligence, communicates with confidence & by effectively listening to identify clients end to end needs. 

Sales Leader  

  • Leads Sales planning in collaboration with key stakeholders (Sales Eng, Marketing, Account Management). Plan includes achieving new retailer targets & expanding new share of wallet opportunities across our Omnichannel retail media solutions & incubation products. Works in partnership with key stakeholders to bring the best resources that ensure deal success. 

Sales Closer  

  • Negotiation Planning: Expands the retailers view of the importance of Retail Media products & concedes negotiables in an order that ensures benefits to the retailer & to us. Effectively maintains good working relationships with those involved in negotiation; persuading others without using manipulation; & maintaining a positive atmosphere during difficult objections & negotiations. 

Sales Excellence  

  • Leads update of pipeline reviewing top new opportunities, identifying roadblocks, & ensures the right resources are engaged to overcome client objections. Executes sales per expectations against pipeline, new client, & opportunity management goals per the Retail Media Solution Selling guidance for new deals, driving for client verifiable outcomes at each stage. 

Industry Knowledge  

  • Understands Retail Media & broader Digital/Media/Advertising/Marketing Industry patterns/trends, & how they apply to clients & conversations. Expert solution seller, social seller, & sales challenger. Expert in compelling storytelling, selling with empathy & emotional intelligence, critical thinking & thought leadership. 


Minimum Qualifications  

  • 9+ years of experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on online media, search advertising, or Search Engine Marketing Sales.
  • Experience in online media or Search Engine Marketing Sales & Service experience.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional & digital marketing such as
  • SEO/Social media etc.) & market research methods
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics & tools

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within Retail Media at global brand, retailer or agency.
